Festivals Celebrated in the Temple

UGADI:-  

Ugadi (Samvatsaradi,Yugadi) is a First festival in the Year as per Telugu Calendar (Panchangam).On that day, the people of village Talamadugu and Surroundings are gather at Temple and share best wishes(Happy Ugadi),then they will listen Censored auditory(Panchanga Shravanam) by Priest (Poojari)-Mr.Kalyan kumar Nerella. After Embrace the Pilgrimages (teertha prasadhalu sveekarinchi) of Lord Venkateshwara Swamy ,people will return.

VARALAKSHMI VRATHAM:-

Varamahalakshmi Vrata or Varalakshmi Nombu is a festival to propitiate the Goddess lakshmi, the consort of Lord vishnu, one of the Hindu Trinity Varalakshmi is one who grants boons ("Vara"). It is an important pooja performed by many women in some of the states of India. The Hindu festival going by the name 'Vara MahaLakshmi Vrata' is celebrated on the Second Friday or the Friday before the day of the full moon - Poornima - in the month of Sravana, which corresponds to the Gregorian months of July–August.On that day all the women of Talamadugu, Gather at temple then Varalakshmi Vrathalu(worships to lord lakshmi ) are performed in temple.

SRI KRISHNA JANMASHTAMI:-

Krishna Janmashtami, also known simply as Janmashtami or Gokulashtami, is an annual Hindu festival that celebrates the birth of Krishna, the eighth avatar of Vishnu.On that day Special worships(prathyeka poojalu) are Performed to Lord Krishna (As Venkateshwara swamy) with Special Offerings(prathyeka Nivedhyalu). The popular ritual of 'Dahi-Handi' is also celebrated on this day.
ANDAL THIRUNAKSHATRAM:-
Andal Thirunakshatram is also known as Sri Andal Janma nakshatram is an annual Hindu (Telugu) Festival that celebrates the birth of Andal (Padmavathi Amma varu).On that day Special worships(prathyeka poojalu) are Performed to Lord Andal ammavaru with Special Food offerings(Prasadhalu).

VIJAYADASHAMI (DUSSEHRA):-

Vijayadashami is also known as Dasahara,is a mojor Hindu  Festival celebrated at the end of Navaratri every year.On that day,the people of Talamadugu and surroundings are gather at Temple and share best wishes,then the Noble Statues(uchhava vigrahalu) of lord venkateshwara swamy and wives laxmi ammavaru and Padmavathi ammavaru are raid(viharistharu) in the streets of village with the help of Garuda vahanam(cart) is known as Garuda seva.The main purpose of this seva is for the happiness of people talamadugu.

KARTHIKA POURNAMI:-
Kartika Purnima is a Hindu, Sikh and Jain cultural festival, celebrated on the Purnima (full moon) day or the fifteenth lunar day of Kartik(November–December). It is also known as Tripuri Purnima and Tripurari Purnima. It is sometimes called Deva-Diwali or Deva-Deepawali, the festival of lights of the gods.
In Temple special worships are start from Kojagari Purnima (Pournami) to Karthika Purnima (30 Days).These 30 days(Karthika Snanalu) People of Talamadugu and surroundings are gather at Temple at 5 AM and then After completion of Worship to Lord Venkateshwara swamy , people will return.On that last day of these 30 days, that is Karthika Purnima- Govu pooja,Sahasra Deepa alankarana Seva and Tulasi Vivaham( Marriage of Tulasi) , Anna Prasadham are Performed.
