Brahmotsavalu

ABOUT:-Brahmotsavalu(Jathara) is an annual 3 days Festival Celebrated in the month of February (Magha masam).This festival is started Celebrating in the year 1978 (temple constructed year),that year it was Handled by Yagnachari Chakrapani Vasudheva Charyulu, after him it was continued by his son Mr.Chakrapani Narasimha Murthy, now it is Handled By Mr.Maringanti Ramgopala Charyulu.This Festival Mainly includes following (Special) programs:

DHEEKSHA (MAALA) DHARANA:-

Some people of village talamadugu are in the initiation from 5 to 11 days,this initiation begin with program Dheeksha dharana. These people are the volunteers for the success of Brahmotsavalu.

PUNYAHAVACHANAM:-

Punyahavachanam is the starting Program of this Festival, which is Performed for the Purification of Temple(Aalaya shuddhi).

ANKURARPANA:-

 Ankurarpana is a program in the part of Brahmothsavalu which Includes the Planting of seeds in Clay pans(matti chippalu) ,filled with Anthill(Puttamannu).After 3 days of Festival, seeds become Sprouts,it shows the Success of Brahmothsavalu. 

GARUDA AVISHKARANA AND VIVAHAM:-

Garuda avishkarana is the welcoming program of the gods of the piece(mukkoti devathalu) ,to stay and success this Festival.
Garuda vivaham is the Marriage of lord Garuda with Kadru, For the Happiness of people village Talamadugu.

THIRUMANJANAM :-

Thirumanjanam is also known as Abhishekam with Milk,Curd,Ghee and Sugar,Honey (Panchamruthalu) ,Turmeric and Saffron,sandal which is celebrated as a part of Brahmothsavalu.

 SRI LAKSHMI VENKATESHWARA SWAMY KALYANAM:-

Kalyanam is the main part of this festival, that is the Marriage of lord Venkateshwara swamy with Lakshmi devi and Padmavathi ammavaru for the Happiness of people (loka rakshana).

PALLAKI AND UNJAL SEVA:-

RATHOTSAVAM:-
Rathotsavam is an end part of the festival.The noble statues(Uchhava Vigrahalu) of Lord Venkateshwara swamy and (wives) Laxmi Ammavaru and Padmavathi(Andal) Ammavaru are Raid(Viharistharu) in the streets of village with the help of Chariot(Rathamu). The main purpose of this seva is for the Happiness of the village People.

Festivals Celebrated in the Temple

UGADI:-  

Ugadi (Samvatsaradi,Yugadi) is a First festival in the Year as per Telugu Calendar (Panchangam).On that day, the people of village Talamadugu and Surroundings are gather at Temple and share best wishes(Happy Ugadi),then they will listen Censored auditory(Panchanga Shravanam) by Priest (Poojari)-Mr.Kalyan kumar Nerella. After Embrace the Pilgrimages (teertha prasadhalu sveekarinchi) of Lord Venkateshwara Swamy ,people will return.

VARALAKSHMI VRATHAM:-

Varamahalakshmi Vrata or Varalakshmi Nombu is a festival to propitiate the Goddess lakshmi, the consort of Lord vishnu, one of the Hindu Trinity . Varalakshmi is one who grants boons ("Vara"). It is an important pooja performed by many women in some of the states of India. The Hindu festival going by the name 'Vara MahaLakshmi Vrata' is celebrated on the Second Friday or the Friday before the day of the full moon - Poornima - in the month of Sravana, which corresponds to the Gregorian months of July–August.On that day all the women of Talamadugu, Gather at temple then Varalakshmi Vrathalu(worships to lord lakshmi ) are performed in temple.

SRI KRISHNA JANMASHTAMI:-

Krishna Janmashtami, also known simply as Janmashtami or Gokulashtami, is an annual Hindu festival that celebrates the birth of Krishna, the eighth avatar of Vishnu.On that day Special worships(prathyeka poojalu) are Performed to Lord Krishna (As Venkateshwara swamy) with Special Offerings(prathyeka Nivedhyalu). The popular ritual of 'Dahi-Handi' is also celebrated on this day.

ANDAL THIRUNAKSHATRAM:-

Andal Thirunakshatram is also known as Sri Andal Janma nakshatram is an annual Hindu (Telugu) Festival that celebrates the birth of Andal (Padmavathi Amma varu).On that day Special worships(prathyeka poojalu) are Performed to Lord Andal ammavaru with Special Food offerings(Prasadhalu).

VIJAYADASHAMI (DUSSEHRA):-

Vijayadashami is also known as Dasahara,is a mojor Hindu  Festival celebrated at the end of Navaratri every year.On that day,the people of Talamadugu and surroundings are gather at Temple and share best wishes,then the Noble Statues(uchhava vigrahalu) of lord venkateshwara swamy and wives laxmi ammavaru and Padmavathi ammavaru are raid(viharistharu) in the streets of village with the help of Garuda vahanam(cart) is known as Garuda seva.The main purpose of this seva is for the happiness of people talamadugu.

KARTHIKA POURNAMI:-
Kartika Purnima is a Hindu, Sikh and Jain cultural festival, celebrated on the Purnima (full moon) day or the fifteenth lunar day of Kartik(November–December). It is also known as Tripuri Purnima and Tripurari Purnima. It is sometimes called Deva-Diwali or Deva-Deepawali, the festival of lights of the gods.
In Temple special worships are start from Kojagari Purnima (Pournami) to Karthika Purnima (30 Days).These 30 days(Karthika Snanalu) People of Talamadugu and surroundings are gather at Temple at 5 AM and then After completion of Worship to Lord Venkateshwara swamy , people will return.On that last day of these 30 days, that is Karthika Purnima- Govu pooja,Sahasra Deepa alankarana Seva and Tulasi Vivaham( Marriage of Tulasi) , Anna Prasadham are Performed.  

History

According to the Folklore, Temple was constructed by the people of village Talamadugu in 1978(16-6-1978).On that day the Daily Worships are started by  (late) Nerella Venkata charyulu , after him it was continued by their  Son Mr.Ranga chary(Second son), now Mr. Nerella Kalyan kumar(Fourth son) was doing the Worships to Lord VENKATESHWARA SWAMY.     
             

చరిత్ర

గ్రామస్తులు మరియు పెద్దల  సమాచారం మేరకు -
తలమడుగు గ్రామస్తులు 1976 లో తాంసి (తలమడుగు కు సమీపం లో గల ) గ్రామానికి వచ్చి ,శతావధాని అయినటువంటి  నేరెళ్ళ వెంకట చార్యుల గారి దగ్గరికి వచ్చి ,"మా గ్రామం (తలమడుగు ) వెంకటేశ్వర స్వామి ఆలయాన్ని నిర్మించాలని గ్రామస్తులందరు అనుకుంటున్నారు అని  చెప్పారు", 1977 లో  నేరెళ్ళ వెంకట చార్యులు గారు వచ్చి,స్థల సేకరణ చేసి 1978 జూన్ 16 న, వేద పండితుల ఆధ్వర్యం లో విగ్రహ ప్రతిష్టాపన చేయడం జరిగింది. ఆ రోజు నుండి నేటి వరకు గ్రామస్తుల సహకారంతో స్వామి వారు  దూప దీప నైవేద్యాలు (నిత్య ఆరాధనలు ) అందుకుంటున్నారు, మొదట నేరెళ్ళ వెంకట చార్యులు గారు నిత్య ఆరాధనలు జరిపించేవారు ,తరువాత తన కుమారుడు (రెండవ ) నేరెళ్ళ రంగాచార్యులు గారు జరిపించారు ,ప్రస్తుతం తన కుమారుడు (నాలుగవ ) నేరెళ్ళ కళ్యాణ్ కుమార్ గారు జరిపిస్తున్నారు.

Temple is located in the village Talamadugu (which is located at  the distance 16 km from Town Adilabad) in 2.5 Acres of land.Temple is surrounded by the Trees(with pleasent Environment) and with good under ground Water, well Accomodations.
